Oh, he was a supply troop. It's starting to make more sense now.

Devin Patrick Kelley has been identified as the gunman who killed at least 24 people at a church in Texas, a U.S. official tells The Daily Beast. Kelley, 26, was a resident of New Braunfels, a suburb of San Antonio, according to public records. Kelley was married and Kelley's mother-in-law listed a P.O. box in Sutherland Springs as a mailing address. San Antonio police reportedly raided Kelley's home on Sunday evening. A LinkedIn account appearing to belong to Kelley describes him as serving in the U.S. Air Force from his 2009 high-school graduation until 2013, after which he briefly taught at a summer Bible school. On a now-deleted Facebook account, Kelley recently displayed an AR-15 style gun, ABC News reports.

Rumor has it the church is in the town his mother in law used to go to. Wonder if he was getting divorced and lost it.

Those fucking supply troops are a problem. If somebody ever tells me an Air Force veteran went on a mass shooting rampage, my first thought would be that it was probably another supply troop.

Nothing like this, but they usually soak up the really odd people that wash out in other areas. All they do is sit in warehouses keeping track of part numbers and inventory counts. A lot of them are pretty crazy.
There are different kinds of crazy, though. I know of E&E troops that tried to build time machines with spare aircraft parts in a closet in one of the hangars. I thought it was pretty weird, but come to find out, it's a common E&E trait to want to build stuff like time machines with spare parts. Those guys aren't usually dangerous, though.
Weapons troops (the guys on the three-man loading teams) are universally fucking retarded. I couldn't believe it when the British guys were laughing about their weapons troops. If you hear about somebody getting drunk and falling off the roof of the barracks and destroying the bike rack down on the ground, you can be relatively certain that was a weapons troop trying out a new stunt.

Well, I mean.. The flight line is kind of fucking crazy, dude. It's like a four years long Coast to Coast show.
I know that time machine stuff sounds like joke and banter, but I wasn't joking.
