Fuel cannisters are the only real problem. I frickin love mine. What I love about it is that I can have coffee, soup or tea in just a few minutes. When it's cold and it sucks, it's a no hassle way to get a hot beverage fast. For general cooking, not a bad tool either but has some limitations.
I owned one for prepping for a long time but never used it. Personally, I gravitated towards little wood stoves as they are lighter and fuel never runs out. You can also put a little alcohol burner inside the wood stove in case everything is wet and shitty and you want a shortcut.
