Sorry to hear about your Iguana.
I spent a lot of time with the critters when I was in Gitmo. The Cuban Iguanas are everywhere on the Naval Station, oddly enough they are endangered or extinct throughout most of Communist Cuban. Turns out he Cuban prols ate most of them.
