send everyone back to the countryside to be small farmers.
industrialization ran its course.
time to go back.

Re: Who Gets Stuck with Chicago?
lol 2009 article. Illinois was short 9 billion back then but it's only grown to 15 billion in eight years. Still good enough for junk status in the bond market.Coming in at the top of the busted list is California, which is going through a miserable budget crisis. But there are also some surprises on the list, including Alaska and Vermont.
California: $53.7 billion shortfall or 58 percent of its budget

I'm just tired of hearing all the one-sided ass clapping about Democrats being solely responsible.

The democrats are solely responsible for absolutely destroying those cities they control financially and also destroying the communities therein.
A red state struggling with a budget it a world apart from a city being hundreds of millions behind on unfunded liabilities, with property taxes headed into the ten percent range (Chicago) coupled with reductions in city services, social welfare programs designed to utterly destroy minority families to create an inner city vote plantation based on dependency and poverty, schools that graduate children who can't even read a sign, and police that are more like large criminal gangs who happen to wear uniforms.
Ridiculous comparison, man. Fucking ridiculous.

Re: Who Gets Stuck with Chicago?
Here it is again:
All those blue towers are going to need bailouts and federal intervention within the next two decades. All of them.
Those red areas that also happen to struggle with budgets probably will need to raise income taxes (or even start levying an income tax at all in the first place).
Worlds apart. One has room to increase taxes if necessary, and few unfunded liabilities. The other is fucking behind by hundreds of millions of dollars and taxing people so high they are fleeing the city.

...coming to a neighborhood near you
Side note: I have noticed a LOT more black people in my town this year. Like, 5 or 6 of them.

Good find dumbass. NJ was totes blue at the time and experienced a decent turnaround. And Arizona also had a Dem Gov. Add this to the list of things you are wrong about.
