The african space program is building a shuttle.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/programmes/f ... 573163.stm
They haven't even started work on the shuttle yet, at the moment it's more of a theoretical project.

The plane they've built is [..]. far from complete, there's still no engine - just a pile of bricks to simulate weight, and a mass of wires hang out underneath.

Chris's team is made up of volunteers [...] each furiously rubbing away at the fuselage with sandpaper. All except for one man whose job appeared to be to paint the same spot on top of the cockpit over and over again.

So, it's easy to mock, and to dismiss Chris as a dreamer, and to say that an African space shuttle is a fantasy. But many Ugandans feel differently, and they look with pride to the country's contribution to space exploration.
Walking away from the African Space Research Programme, I had to feel some sneaking admiration for Chris's ambition, if not a great deal of confidence that Uganda's first manned space shuttle will be lifting off from Kampala within the decade.

Huh. That is an old one. There are other similar developments I have seen them working on as well such as a car that flys and goes under water. The space program was new to me.

Macron tells moon crickets to keep it in their pants and calls Africa's civilization non existent
French president Emmanuel Macron angered fans with his weekend speech at the G20 Summit that suggested Africa has “civilizational” problems which might be related to women having “7 or 8” kids
“The challenge of Africa is completely different, it is much deeper. It is civilizational today,” Macron said, according to one English translation. “Failing states, complex democratic transitions, the demographic transition…One of the essential challenges of Africa…one of the eight countries, that today has seven or eight children born to each woman.”

He was later quoted as saying his "reign would be Jupiterian," and he's too "complex" for reporters.

There is some truth to this tweet despite the likelihood of the guy being an sjw faggot. France 100% gave arms to the hutus, provided diplomatic protection, and helped them leave the country into the DRC. I believe it was called operation Turquoise. If France had stayed out of Rwanda or simply decided to put troops there to keep peace that would be one thing, but they really cocked up that situation.

So instead of addressing the validity of his comment we can start a discussion about how Europe is evil and blah blah.

I suppose it's what I would do if I didn't want to discuss the 7 or 8 kids comment, good job.
