Sometimes, when faced with a choice between two general courses of action, there can be no rational middle ground. You can't say, "Well, I am against totally open borders and replacing our nation's population with fanatical nonwesterners, but I don't want to do much to stop them from coming here; I am a centrist, after all". Fuck that.

The spectrum is bullshit. It's a bullshit construction to convince people to compromise their principles.

2020 primaries will be Biden vs Warren. Winner takes the other as VP. They'll take turns teeing off on Trump or Pence's face, depending on who's still in office by then.
