All I'm saying is tractors are expensive. Elephants seem to be an eco friendly substitute as well.

You're a disturbed human being. Anyone who cherishes and encourages cruelty to animals is.... just /sigh.

Perhaps the elephants are thinking how stupid humans are, because they can't follow simple directions when the elephant tells the circus employee that he doesn't want to be part of their stupid show.

Another trophy hunter was killed by an elephant on Friday. Congrats to the elephant and good riddance. Trophy hunters... nobody needs them.
You wouldn't be saying that if that hunter was your father. Frankly I'm saddened to be in the same thread as a consummate misanthrope.

How do you know that the elephant doesn't want to be in the Circus? Did it tell you this? Between eking out a boring existence on the African Savannah, and being the star of a wonderful family show watched by tens of thousands of people, I would pick the latter. Sounds like the elephants made the same choice.

Well look, I'm a solutions guy. Africans can't help themselves, it's part of their culture to poach elephants. Elephants would be happier here working on a farm. It would give their life meaning and security. Africans won't be tempted to poach them if there are none to poach, which means they could continue to be productive in their society by some other manner.

I like the idea of using elephants as draft animals. I think it would probably best to separate the mother from the baby because who really needs 2 elephants plowing one farm? Waste of resources if you ask me.

I want to wear an elephant hide jacket. Their skin is probably very thick and could probably stop a bullet...er wait nevermind. Their ears look super comfy for some slippers or maybe a belt.

African elephants are no good for work. They are wild animals. Asian elephants are domesticated. If you want a work animal, Asian elephants are awesome. Chinese still use them in remote villages to this day.

African elephants are dangerous and unruly. They are good for zoos, but that's about it.

African elephants are also good for maiming and injuring innocent people, which Kath is celebrating. Truly sad. She would probably allow an entire African village to starve to death before giving them access to a single tusk of life-saving ivory.

African elephants are no good for work because they are African. We will make them American because once they set foot on our soil they automatically become American and Americans are very hard workers.

I love Asian elephants. They are wonderful creatures. African elephants are dangerous.

Asian elephants are amazing animals.

Save them first. They very well could be the next sapient species to evolve on the Earth.

Elephants are actually very bad for the environment as well. In order to eat they destroy trees and leave behind them a path of eroded soil and denuded landscape. Consider the famine problem in Africa, it is vital that Africans protect the meager greenery they have by taking care of their elephant problem. Its not really up for discussion. Its like global warming. This affects all Africans.
