Don't be obtuse. Did I say become a progressive or a Christian? I gave examples of famous people who are known for their charisma. The path to success includes being able to recognize other people who have achieved what you want, whether or not you agree with their personal beliefs. The tools are what you need to look at, not their goals. For example, Paulie Castellano and Joe Gambino had charisma, but I'm not suggesting you take up a life of crime. Do you really want to be famous? If so, study famous people who were unknown and became famous (in other words, who didn't start out with a leg up).
