lol. Pure bafflegab. He has no such right, the ticket has terms which allow them to cancel, you can demand your money back, but you have no "right" to that flight, they however, have the right to demand that you leave the premises, at all times, it's no different than any private business telling you to leave and you refusing; "paging security, security to aisle five..."
Since he obviously wasn't doing anything wrong, and they yanked him out forcibly, I'd say that's grounds for breach of contract, and violation of his rights as a passenger.
At the point where he outright refused to vacate the premises, he's tresspassing, the breach of contract would be on the passenger, the fine print on the ticket ensures that they can demand that you leave the flight as they deem necessary.
