The people in the Middle East who would actually go so far as to join AQ/IS? They don't give a shit about minutiae like that, the only people who care about that, are Western Liberals, which is why the AQ/IS propaganda is effective, but the Salafist Doomsday Prophets are not swayed in either direction, they are commited to their ideology at a much more fundamental level.
