That's a pretty boat.Is that really Norway?pettertb wrote:I don't have a boat, but have the use of many through family. Age thing, I guess. And I was in the wrong town when my mates got one a couple of years back. Sunk after a year, tho.
I have gown up with a wooden boat, called "snekke" in Norwegian. I don't have pictures, but this was the closest thing I could find:

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Nope.
The first pic I got to work was from an Australian web shop. The web is weird. I just looked at the boat.
More appropriate:
Note, this is the southern part of Norway, with less mountains.

It strikes me how few pictures I have digitally :/
Not sure if I really want to start adding family photos and stuff here, but I don't really have pics of the boat at hand either. It's kinda older and differently proportioned, as it used to be a fishing boat.

Lucky you have nice long winters to do all that rubbing down and re-varnishing.

This thing is sitting in a manmade pond just on the other side of the overpass from me in front of Larry's collection of mirrored buildings.

Not sure. Everybody around here calls those building the Emerald City. It sits in this body of water kind of like a cherry atop a sundae.

I'm sure he has others that do get used. 50 billion can buy a couple of those.Montegriffo wrote:What a waste.

Those boats go out of date so quickly, I'm sure he has a faster one or he would still sail it.Haumana wrote:I'm sure he has others that do get used. 50 billion can buy a couple of those.Montegriffo wrote:What a waste.
