In the adminpanel, go to settings and then something like "topics and posts". There you can specify how many posts you want to show on each page.

Loads much faster.

One suggestion for bringing fresh souls. Prominently use some phrase, like "unofficial Dan Carlin forum" so that it comes up in searches.

1/100 shot. Get Dan to mention it at some point. I know I'm in the minority, but I didn't feel that ending the forum was totally kosher. Might have been the best decision for him, but I imagine members played no small part in supporting him and getting the word out about him. Shutting down a forum that prob costs $40/month or so when people got ten years in it and are sobbing left and right is just a little bit dirty.

Maybe he can be guilted into it, is what I'm sayin. A 10 second mention on one pod, and it's there forever.

But first, gotta make sure we have a long term spot.

I'm going to adjust my statement, "loads much faster."

I think this is the fastest site on the internet.

Hastur, you seem to know the sundries of phpBB . . . are there any other styles to select other than the default skin? I'm looking around for a menu for that, but don't see "user control panel" or the like amongst the normal profile edit options. The default I got looks pretty sharp but I'd really like to have the avatars, &c., over on the left.
