See, here in Canada, we've already been through this entire cycle once, our "basket of deplorables" staged their revolt from 1987, it was called the Reform Party, and it was a backlash to the Progressive Conservatives cucking out here, and ultimately they seized control of the Conservative Party when the base went populist, and eventually they won, electing their upstart, Stephen Harper, which set off exactly this sort of hysterical Derangement Syndrome strategy, I mean, down to a tee, identical in every single way, it like a Lib-Cuck media fueled blueprint which is transferrable against any populist revolt.
Eventually, Harper petered out and the Lib-Cucks were able to seize control again, with Justin Trudeau, and now its all gone quiet... even though Justin Trudeau's policies are barely distinguishable from Harper's, other than feel gooderist superficial packaging.

Well, it has been an unusual day, to say the least. I didn't get to hit the centerline at the lake, and I had to watch from a hospital parking lot in one of those very few blue counties on the line.
Having said all that, we had a clear sky and a good two minutes of totality. It was everything I thought it would be and more.

NUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUKE!
I have a bone to pick with you! Months ago, you predicted the August 21st Eclipse would herald the onset of a supersonic roaming death squad that would sunder all living things and leave death and devastation in their shadowed wake!
WELL. It has been a full nine hours since I was standing, out in the open, in the path of totality, and I would like to note that I am still not dead yet. Indeed, not only do I continue to repeatedly breathe oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide, so too do my family members, neighbors, and pretty much everyone else I've come into contact with today! I've not even seen or heard a hint of supernaturally-empowered umbral assassins roaming the countryside! I admittedly did check my Google News feed for the story, but then I remembered they're a bunch of lefty cuck pantywaists who would obviously bury the lede on such an important societal development.
Please explain this discrepancy.

The Titans' OC reminds us that the Moon is not only a Harsh Mistress, but she also a Cold Mothafucka:

Re: Total Solar Eclipse in August
I am still really amazed by what I saw yesterday. I only got 20 seconds of totality and it was absolutely amazing.
Did you guys get to see the the sunlight rushing through the valleys on the Moon right when totality was coming to an end? I got just a fraction of a second of it before I had to look away, and that fraction of a second really stands out in my memory.
I have neighbors who decided not to drive the 18 miles to get into the path of totality and they were like, "it was okay, I guess", and I have to tell them that the partial eclipse -- while cool -- was not anything like totality.
I was sitting there in a field saying "holy fucking shit" repeatedly. I couldn't believe how much it affects people. Everybody there was pretty much doing the same thing.
Imagine what that shit did to people who didn't know anything about the solar system in the distant past.

I cannot for the life of me find a photograph of the eclipse that really captures what that corona and the flares look like. They were so ephemeral and delicate. When I see the photos, it just looks like a whitish or silver haze around the Moon.
I live not far from the path of totality. People here divide into two camps, obviously based on who drove into the path. The people who didn't see totality are like, "Meh, it was okay.". The people who saw the totality are mostly like, "holy fucking shit".
