Fucking Russians
Britain’s intelligence watchdog is facing demands to examine whether Russian “troll factories” interfered in UK politics, amid mounting evidence that thousands of fake accounts may have been used to influence the Brexit vote.
UK academics have already established that at least 419 Twitter accounts operating from the Kremlin-linked Russian Internet Research Agency (IRA) tweeted about Brexit and that thousands of other Russia-based Twitter accounts posted more than 45,000 messages about Brexit in just 48 hours during last year’s referendum.

Theresa May on Monday bowed to pressure from pro-European Conservatives by offering the British parliament a full vote on a final divorce deal with the EU, the latest sign of how political turmoil within her government is taking a toll on her Brexit plans.

Mrs May’s deteriorating position at home has begun to spook the financial markets and has prompted concerns in EU capitals she may not survive to deliver on promises made during Brexit negotiations, which are nearing a critical juncture ahead of a make-or-break December summit.

The pound fell sharply on Monday, dropping nearly 1 per cent against the dollar before stabilising late in the day at $1.31, down 0.6 per cent from Friday’s close. Against the euro, sterling was 0.6 per cent weaker, with one unit of the EU’s common currency buying just under £0.89.

You're government will loose what little legitimacy it has if it fucks the will of the people as it looks like it will....not that my government is any better...

Hope you enjoy your EU masters...

I guess my question Monty, is why as an average citizen do you support the EU? when all it does is subvert your political power?

You're not the one who will be profiting from open borders and EU government spending....I see no benefit to you other than the facade of preventing another European war....EU is not needed for that.

For most people in his shoes, it's about Facebook likes and social approval. The approval/disapproval is drummed up by constant propaganda from the media.

Our greatest enemy right now is the media.

Most people will always be shallow, vacuous creatures really only seeking social approval. We cannot ever let a faction take control of the media like this again to subvert such people.

The way I hear it, the UK had one of the sweetest deals in the EU, since it was being such a stick in the mud about joining in the first place. It got to keep the pound, had more autonomy with labor regulations and still enjoyed the benefit of the EU trade agreements.

An average citizen like Monte might recognize that it is unlikely that the UK will be able to negotiate a series of bilateral trade agreements as beneficial as the EU deal they had with other European countries.
HAIL!

Her needs America so they won't just take his shit away like in some pussy non gun totting countries can happen.

Unless Trade is balanced, it destroys society. The U.K. might survive but many countries in the E.U. won’t.

Mostly because of the economic benefits of the free trade zone. Inflation is already on the rise and the pound is still falling. Once we have to start paying tariffs on imports from the EU inflation will rocket skywards especially on food prices.
The open borders argument is a red herring. Half of our immigration is non EU anyway and many of our industries rely on workers from Europe, in particular agriculture and the health service . The very pro Brexit David Davis( Brexit minister) stated some time ago that immigration from Europe would not be stopping for a long time because of its value to the economy.
We don't have open borders, we are not part of Schengen. We kept our separate currency so we're not linked directly to the failing economies of Southern Europe. We had a really sweet deal which was the envy of rest of the members.
We will remain a part of Europe, we cannot weigh anchor and sail across the Atlantic but in future we will have no say in the policies of the EU. The French and Germans will now be free to continue their federation of Europe agenda without the UK blocking their progress.
All because the North of England hates the Tories and race baiters like Farage played to the ignorance of the general public
The UK will leave the EU no matter how bad the deal worked out behind closed doors between Brussels and the government.

TLDR version, the disadvantages outweigh the benefits.
