Gambling at every gas station and fast food joint. Very cosmopolitan.
No state income tax

5.5% sales tax

Open and/or concealed full castle no duty to retreat.

Legal weed.

Legal prostitution, don't need it, but very civilized.

NHL hockey, easier to get Leafs tickets in Vegas than in Toronto.

The Vegas strip as needed.

Affordable real estate.

Nellis AFB jet watching.

Dark skies at Great Basin, nearer, my God, to thee.

All of those things are Texas except the weed and hookers. Our sales taxes are 1% higher but we produce our own oil and water so meh.

Just gonna have to settle for doing recce and vacay in Nevada for now, my wife is career woman.

Once she retires, then we'll be wild eyed Nevadan Idaho Hating Snowbirds, we'll come back to Canada in summer.

You do have great dark skies at Big Bend, but Great Basin is even darker, and higher elevation.

You could own so much acreage in Nevada. They have signs up and down the highways for land at crazy cheap prices. I don't know how much Canadian wilderness costs.

It's funny because Idaho and Nevada are both Anglo holdouts. Las Vegas was originally an Anglo colony. Idaho still has the highest per capita amount of ethnic Anglos in America.

Idaho has the harshest weed laws in America, wouldn't set foot in that white supremacist hellhole. <spits>
