Applying Neptune Spear in Abbottabad as a template for all situations is derp, but whatevs, derp is gonna derp, that's what derp does. /shrugs
I'm not saying that it makes tactical sense. Just think like a neocon for a moment.
I think like a Neocon at every moment, I am a Neocon, but as a Neocon, I can tell when Neptune Spear is a viable option and when it is not.

Pyongyang Neptune Spear; not a viable option. Neocon option decap in Pyongyang, is Nightwatch Actual bringing the bunkerbusting nukes.

Nope. Can’t sell that to the Evangelicals, unless Kim threatens Jesus. If this was an Arab situation, we’d happily glass it and roll the Big Machine in to occupy indefinitely.

This is the “Home by Christmas” pitch. Unfortunately, some SEALS, and a few million Asians will have to be sacrificed, to light the fuse.

Not sending the SEAL's into Pyongyang, even Tom Clancy doesn't drink that kool-aid, there are times when SOF is a viable option, and then there are times when they are not, yes, the public is obsessed with SOF and they think SOF is the universal tool for every problem, but if you're a Neocon Hawk, you're better informed than that.

I am the Neocon Hawk, I'm telling you what the Neocon Hawk decapitation option is in Pyongyang, which, realistically, is only for extremis, otherwise, we would have done it a long time ago.

Nah neocons just want more war, no matter the situation. That's what Grumpycatface thinks anyway, and it's probably why he's so terrible at putting himself in the shoes of a neocon.

Ronald Reagan only fought one war; Grenada. Margaret Thatcher fought two; Falkland Islands and Northern Ireland.

Canadian Neocon Brian Mulroney; none.

I wouldn't have bothered with Grenada, that was just a stunt, other than that, Neocon wars; fully justified, and, thanks to the Iron Lady, well executed.

Grumpy doesn't like facts that conflict with his anti-neocon rhetoric, you are going to offend him.

5 wars and counting. We need a sixth one, lest the gravy train be slowed!

Yeah,

Good luck with the "decapitation strike":
In September 2016, North Korean intelligence services stole a huge batch of classified US and South Korean military plans — including a plan to assassinate North Korea’s dictator Kim Jong Un and other top government officials.

Yet this was not the stuff of an old-school John Le Carré spy novel, with shady figures in trenchcoats exchanging documents at a dark rendezvous spot in the woods. North Korea’s data theft was done entirely through computer systems.

According to a South Korean politician, last fall North Korean hackers gained access to South Korea’s Defense Integrated Data Center and stole 235 gigabytes of classified military plans. Two plans in particular stand out: One was a plan for how to respond to an attack on South Korea by North Korean commandos. The other was the plan for what’s called a “decapitation strike,” or an operation that would specifically target Kim and other key government officials loyal to the regime. But the full depth of what was stolen is still unknown.
And if Trump "pre-empts" North Korea?

Perhaps that's what Trump voters wanted, I guess.

I certainly consider preemptive counterforce against North Korea before they can reach the threshold of launch on warning hair trigger alert against the CONUS in a permanently unstable and volatile standoff, to be a viable option, but it can't be executed quick and dirty with SOF, if that was an option, would have done it a long time ago.

If then, even.

Anyway, If it Trump goes to war by starting it himself, I guess Trumpster wanted that in the first Place.
