He'd have even less support if y'all didn't make him a free speech martyr. Jailing him for free speech is not causing his message to be heard by less people, it's causing the Streisand effect. Haven't you ever stopped to think that the contempt charge was used as a device to make sure they "got him?" Kinda like how the Mueller turned from "collusion" to "obstruction of justice" or how Al Capone was put away for tax evasion.

No, it isn't.
He was in court for disrupting a trial to the point where the judge said he would have to close the trial down if Yaxley Lennon continued to intimidate witnesses and the accused men.
He was also guilty of broadcasting the men's guilt before the court had ruled.
He also broke the temporary reporting restrictions which had been brought in because the men were being tried in 3 groups and the broadcasting of the jury's decision in the first case might prejudice the following jury's decision and so on.
The decision was taken to restrict reporting until all three trials had concluded (about 3 weeks in total IIRC).
