He wore a T-shirt and shorts while looking over plans for his new spot with Max (((Goldberg))) of Strategic Hospitality, the group behind his new venture as well as the Catbird Seat and several other restaurants in town. But Moran’s casual look shouldn’t be mistaken for a lax attitude. He’s driven by a desire to make food that’s fun but also right for the time and place, and meticulously executed.

“Who doesn’t love to go to New York to eat Chinese food or to the West Coast to eat sushi or whatnot? We want that here in Nashville too.

Come up to the lake today, we're having Kosher ribs and a few dozen Kosher oysters.

(tbqh, going downtown in Nashville anytime now feels like the Titans are playing the Patriots. Goddam yankees thicker than ticks on a coon's ass.)

Oh I wish oysters were Kosher.

Oysters are the lamb meat of the sea. You should be fine. Jesus has your back.

Jesus says he is cool with it if I go to a Jewish baker for breakfast to get some delicious bagels and then stop by some country boy's neighborhood bbq pit for pulled pork for lunch.

The one true religion.

When I get home from the gym, my plan is to make some swiss melts and fries, get drunk on porter on my front porch, and if I feel the itch maybe yell at the kids.

Degenerate yankee atheists are having a bad day.

U.S. franchisees are getting tired of playing chicken with Chick-fil-A.

A group representing national franchisee owners of McDonald's restaurants on Wednesday balked at their parent company for not offering a chicken sandwich that fairly competes with southern rival Chick-fil-A.

"A Chicken Sandwich at McDonald's should be our top priority," the National Owners Association board said in an email addressed to fellow operators. "JFK called for a man on the moon; our call should be a category leading chicken sandwich."

Good luck there, they have to stop using such heavy processed chicken in the first place. The nuggets are not natural, and you can tell.

On this point, I beg to differ -

Pretty much chicken and tempura batter. The frying oil, however, who knows. CF uses peanut oil.

McDonald's uses vegetable oil for frying. They switched from beef stock decades ago which pissed a lot of people off because the fries were superior tasting fried in the former oil. Although they are still pretty damn tasty if you get a fry hop attendant that's worth his salt.
