Watching the coverage on CNN. Blitzed interrupts his correspondent with: "ok, this just in. North Korea has launched another missile. We'll be back with more on that."

Cuts to a 5-minute commercial break.

If this were a real emergency, go fuck yourself.

Not sure why they haven't done it already, it's not like they lack the capacity to do it.
I imagine cause they know how much drama would it would entail.

If they really felt threatened, they would.
How could Japan not feel threatened by NK at this point? They'd have to be retarded not to.

Too much faith in the US to solve the problem for them before it's too late, not wise at all. The US might still bail them out, but why leave it to chance considering the current trajectory of the NK nuclear weapons program?

I am just saying that's the only thing that makes sense to me at this point.

Once they got the H-bomb, Japan should have immediately started the rumors for the need of defensive nukes.

WE have been allies of South Korea for like 60+ years. Pulling out on our relationship just doesn't make a lot of sense. I just don't get it. Trump is sounding the war drums and you guys are drooling all over him and trying to take a shit on like the only two actual allies we can rely on in that part of the world. Honestly, China won't be bombing NK and Russia will probably take China's side.
I don't think that's a real tweet Penner.

One possible countermove for the US:
A senior delegation of South Korean lawmakers is in town making the case to the Trump administration and Congress that such a move is needed to confront North Korea’s growing nuclear capability and place more pressure on China.

“We are here to ask for redeployment of tactical nuclear warheads in South Korea,” Lee Cheol Woo, the head of the intelligence committee of South Korea’s National Assembly, told me Thursday morning.

Lee is heading a delegation of members of the Liberty Korea Party, the opposition to President Moon Jae-in’s Democratic Party. He is also the chairman of the assembly’s special committee for nuclear crisis response
Doesn't change things much on the ground and hence isn't militarily important, but is a big political move. After all, the US just placing the THAAD system in South Korea made big waves with everybody in the region.

I do not support unending Foreign Entanglements.
Why do we need to maintain 1.3 Million US military personnel around the globe?

Why do we need to maintain 800 Military Bases around the World at a cost of $150 Billion ?
http://www.mintpressnews.com/214492-2/214492/

Why do you support the US being involved around the globe and backing it up with military might?

We should have been out of Korea by 1980, President Nixon ordered US troops to begin withdrawl from Korea, but then enter the Democrats(115 of them) who subverted the Presidents authority as Commander in Chief to ensure that the US continue Progressive policies in foreign lands. It was called Koreagate. Ten of the congressmen faced mild punishment for taking bribes from South Korea.

I'm for Fortress America, severely limiting foreign entanglements. Had we pulled out of Korea in 1980 as ordered by the POTUS, this likely wouldn't be the same problem for the US, Japan, South Korea and China would have to put on their big boy panties instead of always pointing to the US. The US would not have supplied North Korea with nuclear fuel and billions of dollars to build these weapons.

NOT our responsibility to be world police. And as far as 'Allies' South Korea pulled their troops out of Iraq 9 years ago, pulled their troops out of Afghanistan over a decade ago. BUT, we still send them a few Billion dollars every year and deal with their bully neighbor. Not much of an equal alliance.
