Carl Bernstein learned of this intel in August and forwarded it to the FBI. He says it's by former MI6 investigator doing oppo research.

This is not 4chan bullshit, it's worth discussing the conclusions of the research, but the people discounting this as fake on account of 4chan are making a mistake.

Oh, I'm keeping an open mind about it, I've read the report, I have my doubts that it was written by anybody from MI6, right now, I think Glenn Greenwald has it about right, with "Deep State wages war against Trump using unverified claims while Democrats cheer", that's the only ring of truth I'm hearing in all this.

One showed that current interim DNC chair Donna Brazile, in her former role as a CNN commentator, passed along a question from a town hall produced by that network and TV One. Brazile also tipped off the Clinton campaign that a question in a primary debate would come from a woman dealing with the aftermath of lead poisoning in Flint, Mich. After the revelations, Brazile resigned her role with CNN.

CIA? They have an intense Interagency rivalry with the Pentagon, the Pentagon is ever out to eat their lunch and drink their milkshake, CIA is in a constant struggle to defend its turf from NSA, DIA, NRO, JSOC, etc

I'm quite sure, as you've eluded to, that they don't like Gen. Flynn being in a position of such influence, as ex-JSOC intel director and DIA man, and being a verified rogue element therein.

Is there overlap between DIA and CIA?? Would the CIA acquiring influence over the DIA be in fact an attempt to control Military Intel?

When I picture CIA I picture all-around intel agency. Collect, coerce, prevent...When I picture DIA I imagine satellite imagery analysis.
