that's what happened here, the whole military went Woke all at once, from the top down

all the guys who joined to be Alpha's pretty much quit on the spot

we let our contracts run out, turned in our kit and walked away

they will say that a battalion has "800" troops when really it's more like 500

they will say a brigade has "5,000" troops when really it's more like 3,000

when you order a military to do that, the whole thing starts to collapse everywhere at once

it happens fast, the military cannot function if nobody is telling the truth, it falls to pieces very quickly

so just because the US military is big, that doesn't insulate it,

it will just fall from a greater height, but it will all fall at once

this is the time where guys need to stop internalizing the state

when in you are in the military, you internalize the country as your personal responsibility

if it all goes to shit, that can be very hard on a republican soldier, because he is a citizen soldier

in the British military I joined however, we didn't even serve the country

I joined an army unchanged from the 1950s

we didn't serve the public, we served the Queen, we didn't even play O' Canada on parade, we played GSTQ

so while we were bitter about what they had done, ultimately it wasn't our military, it didn't belong to us
