ok. so that happened. Wife taps me awake during a nap. Neighbor dog and pig got into a huge fight. Both bloody as all get out. I thought the dog's carotid artery was severed. Leaking blood like a motherfucker. Have to drive him 40 minutes to the nearest pet hospital. The back seat looks like a Tarantino movie. They took Duke in and scanned his chip. They tell us "Ok, Megan has this. You guys are done"...... WTF? Who the fuck is Megan??? I got dog blood all over me . I think the pig might have lost both eyes. This was nuts. 3 hours and a 45 miles round trip. A bloody back seat and bloody shorts later. I hope he is ok.

The 35 mph speed limit and two way roads makes it seem bigger than it really is. It is a special treat to get over to the 4 lane highways and drop the pedal to go 60.

Okay. So I just hear from Meagan. She just gave birth 3 days ago. 3rd kid. They were in town. Duke is alive. Sounds like he is going to make it. She was unaware of Mr. Pig's plight . But she was thanking us profusely. Crazy story but the dog lives in the end. Phew.
