One of my replies in the Riots thread is just a list of videos that show the type of violence in the streets. violence that isn't prosecuted by the municipal or state authorities. Either you're being deliberately dismissive because it hasn't been your door they've kicked in (therefore it must not be a real thing), or you're willfully ignorant.

So let’s break this strategy down for the grade-schoolers:

Many of these businesses that have been attacked won't be reopening, insurance or not. That's not trivial. You are acting like they can just open up a new store somewhere else. There has been no government overreach. State and Local governments refuse to enforce the law. You are ignoring that fact and acting like it doesn't exist when there is clear, documented proof that the State and Local governments ARE DOING NOTHING to curb the rioting and violence.

Again, the 2nd amendment doesn't mean anything if State and Local governments are prosecuting you for having them and using them to protect your home.(See: The Case against the McCloskey's) This isn't equal protection under the law. This is selective prosecution. The Tyranny isn't coming from the federal government in this instance. It's coming from State and Local municipalities.

Those business would be closing, attacks or not, thanks to COVID. Nobody is closing a business permanently because of damage to their insured goods. They might choose to do something else, because it's a pain in the ass, but that's not the same thing.
