Kursk was such a minor action on the Eastern Front, totally insignificant.

The whole Last Charge of the Tiger Tanks thing is bullshit, the Germans only had a handful of them.

I used to buy the Kursk myth too. But then I did a deep dive on it and found out that it's just Nazi propganda.

They made it out to be something it wasn't, a huge battle glorious in defeat.

Reality check was vastly outnumbered Germans launch pathetic counter attack that goes nohwere, Soviets swat it aside with ease.

Like I say, the beauty of those Eastory videos is that they illustrate what I was trying to view in my minds eye.

Like I you watch all of them, the grand sweep of the Eastern Front, you see how insignificant "Kusrk" was.

It's a speed bump, it's not actually one of the big battles.

The Nazis vastly exaggerated it because they did not want to public to know how bad the situation actually was.

They were losing, the public knew that, but they wanted to cover up how badly they were losing in fact.
