I love my country. I don't love the way it's government operates, or about half of the bullshit that my taxes go to. I don't like the Congress, POTUS, or a whole bunch of other shit. That has nothing to do with the actual country though - the geographic area, and people within it.

A whole lot of this confusion is that people are confusing their country with it's government. 2 very different things.

It's crazy how Trump's words can inspire so much protest, but the all-encompassing illegal domestic surveillance apparatus and endless foreign wars barely elicit a response.

Why do we focus on words so much? It's been consistent through the Obama years and continues today, god knows everyone focused on Obama's words and paid little attention to his actions, I think the same can be said of Trump
