Speaker to Animals wrote:It is not at all clear from their text that this was an illegal immigrant. Lots of people were denied asylum and remain in the nation for some period of time before their deportation. They could have been allowed in the nation while their asylum claim is processed.
An illegal immigrant is somebody who illegally enters your nation or remains their after his invitation is rescinded.
Verification of this:
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-36880758
The Syrian man entered Germany two years ago and had his asylum claim rejected a year ago, Bavarian Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann said.
He had been given leave to stay temporarily given the situation in his home country and provided with accommodation in Ansbach, Mr Herrmann added.
A federal interior ministry spokesman, Tobias Plate, confirmed the man had faced deportation to Bulgaria.
"Syrians cannot at the moment be deported to Syria, but that doesn't mean that Syrians overall cannot be deported," he told reporters in Berlin.
So, iow, did not stay in the country illegally.

That's my point. I was verifying your remark to TC, not verifying TC's claim of the jihadist being an illegal immigrant.

That is what I wanted to know because timing is literally everything in this case.

To me this indicates that many folks on your left are extremists. Anyone calling the BBC right wing establishment is fucking high as a kite bro. If you can't see their obvious left leaning bias, it's because you lean to left and your blinders prevent you from seeing a clear and obvious bias. If someone thinks the BBC are actually right wing establishment, than it's because they are a left wing nutjob and they think anything to right of them is a nazi.

Oh I am well aware. The left are on the fringes in America, and thus BBC is on the left fringe to Americans. To Canadians the BBC and CBC's viewpoints are little different from the NDP, a political party that is actually slightly left of center, but not by much. Denying the BBC leans to left is just pure ignorance, monte needs to grow up and stop assuming that the British media sources are notably less biased than their counterparts in other western nations, it just isn't true, the British media are terrible. Government regulated media organizations are not less biased than average, they are more biased than average. The CBC and BBC are lefty echo chambers and anyone who can tell what a lefty echo chamber is already knows this.

A Syrian which failed to get into Germany legally, blew himself up... yet the BBC calls him a Migrant... seriously? You don't see a problem with that?
I'm sorry but I don't understand the question.
A person gaining entry to Germany from abroad is clearly a migrant. Are you objecting to the lack of the prefix "illegal" ?
The words failed asylum seeker appear to have made that distinction clearly enough.
The correct term is Illegal Alien.
We need to stop blurring the lines between Legal Immigration and Illegal Aliens with language. This is done intentionally to move the goal posts.

Oh, I agree completely. I listen to them just to get another view... I just wish they would be honest with themselves and state their true intentions to the people, because the BBC of today is nowhere close to where it was back in the 50s...

I was affirming what you said. It wasn't just TC but several people who made the assumption.
There currently are quite a large number of people in various European nations who are awaiting asylum processing or waiting for the war to end so they can be shipped back home.
