the Russians don't control this territory, this is not secure areas

they are deep inside hostile territory, on tenuous supply lines, with minimal air cover

and NATO weapons & ammo is flowing in over the Polish border, in convoys of heavy trucks

so time is running out fast for the Russians to get this under control

and they ain't exactly showing a lot of progress, they are not moving fast on any front
