Re: UK election
Nah, frontrunning politicians tend to duck debates when they are sure they are going to win and dont need to give the opposition the opportunity to make up ground, while sucking the air out the debate the don't attend. He might not be as far ahead as he thinks, but he certainly thinks he's well ahead.

Yeah, as I said, he's frightened of getting caught in another lie and losing his lead.
He tried to send his Dad (and Gove) to the Channel 4 debate on climate change. Ch4 turned them down as it was a leader's debate.
Now he's sulking and threatening to reconsider Ch4's charter if he wins the election.
Not a good look.

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Nah, very Trump like, you don't like him either, same shit. Worked for Trump, Worked for Trudeau, Will work for Bojo too. Not a good look to you, doesn't mean not a good look to the electorate.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 2:11 pmYeah, as I said, he's frightened of getting caught in another lie and losing his lead.

Didn't work for Theresa May when she did her submarine act. She lost her majority.

That's because she's Theresa May. Bojo has more charisma in his pinky finger than she has in her entire body.Montegriffo wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 2:47 pmDidn't work for Theresa May when she did her submarine act. She lost her majority.

Indeed, of course when I tell Monte that, he just writes off my entire opinion, because he refuses to admit his dislike of Bojo clouds his judgment regarding him.Smitty-48 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 2:53 pmBojo Derangement Syndrome is in effect. Nobody can be convinced of anything in postmodernity, all conflicts will be resolved by force.

True for the most part. I'm convinced of shit all the time, but I'm a rare breed like that. Expecting Monte to be more like me in this regard is of course a fool's errand.Smitty-48 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 2:58 pmNobody can be convinced of anything in postmodernity, all conflicts will be resolved by force.

You are an exception to the rule, I am exception to the rule. Monte however, is a Normie.StCapps wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 2:59 pmTrue for the most part.
