Look at it on a map. It's in the middle of a national forest pretty close to the border (good radio range down into Mexico). Not far away is the White Sands Test Range.

Also, if that thing has good communications equipment to connect to other observatories, it's a good target to use that equipment to transmit data pretty much anywhere in the world if you can gain access.

Was Whitey Bulger killed to protect Mueller ?

Bulger deserved a violent death after what he'd done in his life, I have little remorse for the man other than even as evil as he was, he was a human being. Since I don't trust the FBI, and I am aware of Muellers ties to Bulger and dirty dealings in the past, I'm skeptical this was just an unfortunate oversight by the prison system.

I'm pretty sure we'll never know, and few will care, that's why I'm putting this in conspiracy theory territory. Good questions are asked in the article attached.
