All I can say is this: Pence is one stone-cold motherfucker: Ride quietly in the shadow of a populist candidate, then when his position is secured, let loose the shackles and lets the President publicly destroy himself. Then, when his pet fool's been disposed of one way or another, assume the Presidency under the auspices of a "return to sanity" to a by now very receptive and grateful nation.

So many ways it could happen too! A Federal coup ending in impeachment? Invoking Section 4 of the 25th Amendment? Just plain waiting for Trump to kick over from stress or just abdicate?

We were so busy concerning ourselves with number 45, we weren't paying attention to the man gunning for 46.
