According to the watchdog org. claiming that "Russian bots are responsible for #ReleaseTheMemo", the network of Russian linked accounts they are monitoring "may or may not understand themselves to be part of a pro-Russian social network"; AKA they are not Russian bots. Sad.

Mueller III’s investigation into the election meddling has heated up, Russian-linked accounts helped amplify a Twitter hashtag calling for the release of a memo the group hopes will help discredit Mueller's work, according to Hamilton 68, a research firm that tracks the malicious accounts. The #releasethememo hashtag was tweeted by these accounts nearly 4,000 times in the last couple of days, the firm said.

“We are aware of these reports and will take action on any accounts or Tweets that violate our terms of service,” Twitter said in a statement distributed by Horne.

The letter addressed to the Obama Foundation, signed by more than one hundred professors, is the latest controversy for a project that has lacked community support due to top-down development practices.

Since plans were announced to construct the library in Jackson Park, near the University of Chicago, the Obama Foundation has received constant rebuke from local leaders demanding a community benefits agreement, green space advocates opposing the privatization of park space, and unions wanting jobs for local workers. Joining this chorus of opposition, professors at the University of Chicago believe the Obama Library is poorly planned to benefit the local economy and South Side residents.

We wants to run the UN and his hometown won't even let him build a library.

I really doubt he won't be allowed to build the library. It's a huge prestige benefit and if they make Obama mad he'll just end up going to UIUC or even worse, Columbia. Wouldn't be surprised to hear about Boyer cordially telling these professors to stop whining about parks at some point.
