these are not Americans, Canadians are not really political
"defund the police" is not going to happen in a police state like this

thing about Canada, nobody believes in the cult of democracy here
everybody knows that voting doesn't change anything, there are no delusions about how Canada really works
the net result is that Canadians do not get nearly as up in arms about politics as Americans do
in Canada, you just want to avoid the police, but the vast majority of civilians here are harmless & defenseless
