This is basically a chess move to allow them a way to harass people indefinitely and raid more offices.

Now, WikiLeaks, nor Russia can really be taken to court. But doesn't this allow a Trump defense to get into DNC records and provide evidence that maybe it was an insider that passed the info to WikiLeaks.

The Trump admin is making moves to pardon Assange.
