But outright lying? Are they making up tweets? Are they reporting Trump started a war that he didn't start? What?

That's got to be the most demoralizing job in politics right now.

Being the Spin Doctor for any political figure has got to be the worst sort of job... spending your entire life trying to figure out how to lie without lying and trying to make a pile of oozing poop smell rosy?

Now try to do this job with your boss constantly contradicting you. SMH.... more of that 7 Trillion D chess game, apparently.

You are claiming that they lie non-stop 24/7, meaning they are never accurate. I can certainly find boatloads of accurate reporting on CNN. What do they LITERALLY MAKE UP and report as fact?

Imagine being some CNN actor, whose job it is to propagandize and lie to people day in and day out, and yet some teenager on YouTube regularly gets ten times your views each year, and possibly that kid is making all that money mocking you. You try to out-flank the trolls by declaring them all "fake news", but even that backfires when the YouTube channels with ten times your exposure to the American people start showing people all the times you were caught flagrantly lying.

That's the most depressing political job right now. Having to look into that camera to lie every day, knowing everybody knows you are lying, and the only reason most people will ever even see this is because they watch some YouTube channel that mocks you, pulling in more ratings than your entire network.

House rejects new limits on government surveillance powers

In a narrow victory for the Trump administration, the House on Thursday voted down a bid to impose new limits on how authorities can use information on Americans collected in foreign spying.

The amendment failed by a vote of 183 to 233.

Just a few hours before the vote, President Trump roiled the waters by sending out a tweet that appeared to contradict his own administration's opposition to the changes, which were offered by Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich.).

"House votes on controversial FISA ACT today." This is the act that may have been used, with the help of the discredited and phony Dossier, to so badly surveil and abuse the Trump Campaign by the previous administration and others?" he tweeted.

The White House had said it supported the underlying surveillance bill but strongly opposed Amash's amendment.

Trump later clarified that he "has personally directed the fix to the unmasking process since taking office and today's vote is about foreign surveillance of foreign bad guys on foreign land."
