It sends a message that they have chemical weapons, without blatantly “testing” them.

I think it’s more likely that this came from the Norks though, as a “favor” to Moscow. They’re the only ones that have done this, to my knowledge.

Which would then imply an alliance between the two... yikes.

You’ll remember that I hypothesized a Russian-Chinese alliance a few months ago. That’s a scary thing.

And a US NK negotiation will do what to this Russo-Sino alliance? Bring it to bear on a major world problem perhaps?

It took 10 years for a public inquiry to find Russia guilty of the Litvinenko murder. You can expect the current inquiry to also move at this rapid pace.
Hillsborough inquiry took 27 years to get to the truth.
Bloody Sunday 2nd inquest took 12 years and was published 38 years after the event,
In ten years time very few people will care about Skripal or his daughter or even remember them.
In the meantime there will be plenty of rhetoric about not jumping to conclusions but nothing will be done.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Some Congress guy just told AC360 that the CIA flat got it wrong. Just like in Iraq.

Now let’s see if we can still aviod WW3

Firing McCabe pissed off the Deep State, both John Brennan (former CIA head) and Samantha Power (Former UN Ambass.) both made veiled threats to the POTUS. I guess they didn't like the Queen of Spades getting Trumped :D

I think Strzoks, Page and Ohr are next. You know the OIG and OPR have similar files on these scumbags. Rosentstein is the big one, when the Queen of Clubs goes down, that the game. There is an unnamed Prosecutor who is not a Washington DC Beltway guy working with the IG and making recommendations to Sessions. I think Sessions is trying to sit the fence, only acting when he can later say he was forced to act.

Trump really had little to do with it. McCabe was caught leaking sensitive information to the media in an effort to undermine the president. His inspector general investigated it, found him guilty, and recommended to Sessions that he be fired.

He should be fired for that.

Yes, it is key to remember how and when the OIG Investigation began. It began in the late Summer of 2016 before the election. Admiral Rogers at the NSA became aware that the FBI and DOJ were lying to the FISA Court and reported it to the FISC, that initiated the investigation prior to Trump taking office.

Here's a great interview with Chairman Nunes of the Intel Committee who is the star for getting this in the public eye, very interesting stuff.

Nunez is doing God's work.

With respect to McCabe, I can't believe that guy is still bitching about it. He should have been led out of the building in handcuffs for violating federal laws.

I wonder if this means CNN will have to postpone his coming over to work for them by a few months now.
