I don't want them propping up a bad industry with federal tax dollars, that's a poor use of taxpayer funds, whether it's Clean Coal, or Obama's green energy initiative. Subsidized energy boondoggle doesn't become desirable because it's a fossil fuel or green energy.

The unemployment rate among African Americans has been steadily declining since March 2010, when 16.8 percent of African Americans were unemployed. By the time Trump entered office in January of 2017, the African American unemployment rate had already decreased 9 points. While Trump was in office, it decreased by one point — keeping up a trend that had already been in place.

New technologies are often subsidized because R&D is expensive, and not initially profitable. That isn't inherently a boondoggle.

What is it you repeat ad nausium on other subjects..
perfect is the enemy of good
Renewable energy doesn't need to be perfect, it just needs to be better than coal.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

We agree on this.

If he can be held accountable for the bad parts of what happens to the economy, then he is also responsible for the good things that happen as well.

Lol..... so you give Trump credit for the massive drop in unemployment between 2010 and 2016? That's very generous of you. Have you asked your boss for a bonus based on the work you didn't do for a previous six years when you didn't work there? Same logic.... lol
