I am not on welfare. Not sure about the timeline. I have made tremendous progress, though. A few years ago I was mostly bed-ridden. I haven't been able to get rid of the pain altogether, but I am able to reduce it a great deal. But if I fail to do resistance training for a week, the full weight of the pain comes back pretty fast. I don't really know why it keeps the pain at bay. I only just figured it out two years ago.

I'd like to try working right now, honestly. I hate this. The risks if it doesn't work out are pretty high. So I have been working on my own project to build some coding examples for prospective employers and to test out working behind a computer full-time for a while. That's the stage I am at right now.

As far as the rehabilitation.. I have eliminated a lot of issues throughout my back. My main problems now are just fixing the shoulders and neck. Most of my muscles hat atrophied and I have to rehabilitate them. But since I don't really have legitimate health care to do that, I have to get books and figure out how to do it myself.
