That's a hell of a compliment.

Social cue, TC: Tell that man thanks.

I'll take that as a compliment. The major difference is I'm not all tattooed up ;)

I will say though, I am going to each my son how to fight, but if I find he started a fight without justified provocation, I'll drop his ass myself.

As I said before, don't throw the first, throw the last.

Plenty of time to get a shitty tattoo if you want to. Then you'd fit right in.

I'd imagine that Combat Sambo is probably cheaper than MMA or Jiu-Jitsu classes and probably significantly so. Boxing and Wrestling are among the cheaper combat sports to participate in, especially boxing. BJJ is fun and all, but they charge an arm and a leg, trying to fleece upper middle class white folk, same with MMA classes for the most part.

It is but it takes a beating on your body, like wresting. It's good to have under your belt though either way.

Anyway I'd like to get hair back on my head instead of a tattoo. But I have a few in mind if I was given the option ;)

Never fight your kid... no matter what stupid ass thing he does.

Defend yourself if he comes at you, but never retaliate if you can at all help it.
There is no winning a physical fight with your own kid. You lose from the moment you engage.

Call him out when he deserves it... and hold him accountable... that hurts more than any blow you can land on him.
Deep down tho, I still thirst to kill you and eat you. Ultra Chimp can't help it.. - Smitty

Injuries come with the territory in such violent endeavors, especially when mixing striking and grappling in concert with each other, it's the way she goes. It's important to not over do it, over-training is when injuries are most likely to occur. The worst part about participating in combat sports training on the regular, you are banged up all the time, it's a fluke if you are participating at 100% for any significant stretch of time, and that can take it's toll.

If my son is going to get into a fight, and he started it, I will expect the other kid to be severely hurt. Trust me, I will use my voice upon all things first, but if it comes to it, I will show him humility old school.

Again, last chance scenario. I will not raise a bully.

Oh trust me I know it does, during the time of training continuously if I wasn't bruised somewhere I wasn't training hard enough.

Movies glorify that shit, want to see what a real fight looks like, the best example I can come up with is probably Boondocks Saints. Sure it throws humor into it, but you don't come out of any fight unscathed.
