Every time they do this since 1932, they get a two term presidency, except with Bush Sr and Ford.
You would think you'd learn after seeing this pattern your entire life, but no wishful thinking rules in your head.
Bush sr was Reagan's third term, a Bush sr scenario is Pence 2024.

Indeed, it's not like it hurt Reagan, but StA doesn't care about reality, just what he wishes was reality. Hence his shitty analysis.

Here's the big problem: the neocons and conservatives are not the real right. They are a different kind of liberal.

The real right represents a more Faustian man who cares about ambition, honor, achievement. These neocons are idolaters who care only about money. Their mindset -- every God damned time they gain a majority -- is to try to push through the most unpopular policies that benefit their wealthy benefactors before they inevitably lose that majority status. They are so used to having majority status only for a few election cycles, it's ingrained in their very being. They immediately scramble to try to push through tax cuts for the wealthy and paid for by the middle class, deregulation where it definitely has no legitimate justification, and so on. Then they lose half their seats. The democrats eventually regain a super-majority and subsequently undo all that garbage.

At no time did these clowns ever actually represent the vast majority of people who elected them. They get elected on issues like immigration reform, security, and dealing with the economic damage of these trade deals (which are more accurately called job export deals). Then they just turn around and do the opposite of what their constituents demand. Every time.

They will lose big time and then they will all be on their corporate television shows trying to figure out what the fuck just happened. Duh. We already know what happened. The same thing that happened last time. The time before that. And before that. All the way back to 1932. Fucking dummies.

You cannot justify this bullshit. When over 70% of the republican electorate opposes you, you have ZERO mandate to pursue such policies. You cannot maintain control of the government by doing the opposite of what your own electorate mandates. It's fucking astounding to me that this has to be spelled out.

That only happened to Bush Sr and Ford, everyone else got two terms. You're just wrong, wishful thinking pollutes your mind.

Trump isn't going down because he doesn't do what you elected him to do, people like you don't win elections for the GOP, you just wish people who share your opinions actually had that kind of power, they don't.

The only model that works for the Democrats, is Jack Kennedy, that's Clinton, that's Obama, but Jack Kennedy knows enough to wait until the GOP has run out of gas before he pounces, Jack Kennedy doesn't run into the teeth of the incumbent.

He waited for Nixon, and it paid off beautifully, he didn't go after Eisenhower, that would have been suicide.

We can sit here and argue the merits of tax cuts for the wealthy, deregulation of monopolies, and more wars overseas all fucking day long. At the end of that day, when the VAST majority of the American people (including the majority of the republican party's own base) strongly oppose those issues, you cannot justify pursuing those policies. The end result will be the burning of the republican base, the loss of republican control in the Senate, and very possibly the loss of the republican control of the White House in the next election.

There are actually some important issues right now. Tax cuts for rich people and letting monopolies like Comcast shut down their competitors were not among them. All that's happening right now is that Trump is burning the republican base across the board.

Neocons are the real enemies. They will continue to do this until they are purged from the fucking party. Neocons and libertarians are a fucking cancer on that party.

I think the neocons are basically DNC, yeah. Paul Ryan might as well be a democrat. So too should McConnell.

They are basically fighting for DNC issues like DACA, mass immigration, and so on. Hello. McFly! They are liberals.

The Neocons have more power in the Republican Party, than your so-called "Real Right", the "Real Right" didn't win Trump the election, the neocons and swing voters did.
