Like, from the book, "the chance that Don jr did not walk these jumos up to his father's office in Trump tower, is zero"

I mean, shit, he's already testifying, he needs to make that official if he's going to profit from it.

Trump's vulnerability is not even about the White House, the Russia collusion angle goes through Trump Tower not the Oval Office.

This is why Trump is so intent on keeping this limited to the White House, the Russians were never in the White House, but if the FBI gets their hooks into the Trump Org, that's where Trump could have a problem, nothing to do with impeachment, if the Trump Org starts to unravel, who knows what shit the FBI will find, but Trump knows, and clearly he doesn't want them mooching around there at all.

If the FBI cries National Security on your business dealings, that's bad ju-ju, because National Security gives them carte blanche, and nobody is squeaky clean, the FBI will find something, they always do.

That's how these witch hunts work, they don't usually get you on the thing they were mandated to look for, they get you on something else, which they find once they start mooching around with carte blanche.

Bannon sees the weak spot and is exploiting it well. Not really even a weak spot. Trump is a walking, talking tar baby. Just don't engage and let him burn himself out.

Johnson should pay close attention.
Bannon is pissing all over him, you're not paying attention, Bannon is now going around shouting Democrat Talking Points at the top of his lungs to anyone who will listen.

Not really, dude. He criticized the people surrounding Trump (rightly so) to an author who then painted his own narrative. Bannon didn't write that book. Wolfe wrote it.

Bannon is out there openly supporting Trump regardless of Trump's Twitter tantrum. "Sloppy Steve"? Come on, man. Grow the fuck up. Your son acted like a total dumbass by walking into an obvious trap in an attempt to buy political intelligence from the Russians. Just own it. It's not even a crime. Your daughter and her husband talked you into creating a hole at the end of a runway in Syria for no reason. The people you hired are all stabbing each other in the backs and leaking like sieves. The White House has become an episode of the Kardashians on Survivor Island.

I thought this guy was supposed to know how to hire good people? I don't see it. If Bannon is so fucking toxic, then why did Trump hire him? Why did Trump hire Patreus' right hand man who then proceeded to push neocon foreign policies that Trump ran against? Why did Trump hire Dina Powel?

Come on, Capps. He's fucking up. At the very best case, I can concede all your points and I am left to conclude that Trump is terrible at hiring.
He hired Bannon as a favor for financial support from the Mercers.

Trump is better at firing than hiring, it's true. When did I ever say different?

And Bannon himself might as well be Trump's base in effigy thrown under that bus. That thud and scraping sound you hear is the entire MAGA agenda getting dragged to death across the asphalt.

Say hello to DACA and more mass migration. Say high to Mitt Romney's agenda.

Some people panic a little too easy.

Trump's end has been forecast how many times now?

Basically it's about what kind of storyline the Republicans will want to use here and how far they want to go. Because let's face it, democrats are timid sheep compared to Republicans when it comes to assaulting a sitting President.

The IC whisked away the most compromised people of Trump quite quickly and Trump's actual foreign policy when it comes to Russia has remained basically on course with previous administrations. So now it's just about how to treat the past, about what happened in Trump Tower, because after Flynn got fired nothing anymore happened on the Russian front except Trump being very friendly himself to Russians and Putin. But that doesn't shake the boat at all.

It's simply obvious that Trump didn't think much else about the whole than it was just a win-win situation with the Russians. He gets a little help from them, he can ease the relations with Russia afterwards and get a diplomatic victory. A win-win for a very stable genius. That is quite easy to pick that up from the honeymoon time that Trump had with Putin. Trump simply couldn't fathom that dealing with the Russians would give or actually force the FBI to use that National Security carte blanche.

Nobody is forecasting the end of Trump. It's the end of MAGA. In case you haven't noticed, he's already agreeing to sign DACA into law. All we are getting from here on out is an even less likable Mitt Romney.

If anything, we are looking at the eventual end of the GOP. Death by suicide. Signing DACA into law is equivalent to eating buckshot in the tool shed at this point. Fucking stupid.

When this whole Russian narrative collapses into nothing, what R U anti-Trumpers going to do? Real question. The Dems seemed to have moved on to "Trump must be removed because he is mentally ill." Will that be your play too?

A more likable, far more entertaining Mitt Romney.
