Also attack Britons with nerve gas is pretty much attacking Americans for all intents and purposes.
I really hope this is fake news.

There really is no difference.. Unless the nerve gas can spread, or be an ongoing threat.Speaker to Animals wrote:Nah, we just shoot people like men in a civilized country. We reserve drone strikes for shit holes.

Not the first time this has happened, like I said in the Europe thread last week Vlad can expect a severely worded letter from Theresa the appeaser. Other than sending a few diplomats home there's not a lot more we can do. This isn't going to end up with sanctions or anything like that.Speaker to Animals wrote:Holy shit:

If they actually did that, that could be construed as an act of war. Assassinating defectors is one thing; releasing a nerve agent in another country is fucking nuts.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Oh you should totally do sanctions. We have the best sanctions. Our sanctions are the gold classy standard - everybody's talking about it.Montegriffo wrote:Not the first time this has happened, like I said in the Europe thread last week Vlad can expect a severely worded letter from Theresa the appeaser. The policeman who was first on the scene is seriously ill in hospital and a couple of buildings have been closed to the public.GrumpyCatFace wrote:There really is no difference.. Looks like the copper is going to survive but the spy and his daughter may not be so lucky.

You apparently are also clueless as to how nerve agent works. If they released nerve agent out in the open in the middle of England, that is really, really fucked up.
This isn't like chlorine gas or something that just disperses into the atmosphere. Nerve agent sticks around on all the surfaces. People can transmit it in passing and that shit could be all over the city block in no time. Then there is the question of the source, how much more is there, what have they done to contain or dispose of it, what else is contaminated.
This is really fucked up.

I'm interested now. Not ready to blow up the world, but we'll probably have to use some new sanctions and such. Perhaps an extra drone strike or three on Syria.

One thing is for sure, if this is for real, the response is going to red pill a lot of Britons on just how fake that fake news chemical weapons attack was in Syria.
"But I saw white hats touching people and surfaces with their bare hands and they didn't get sick??"
Yeah, that's because it was fake fake fake.

Fortunately, the cop is making a recovery. If they link this back to Russia, there is going to have be some serious consequences for smuggling a nerve agent into England and then releasing in public.
