Just to clarify here, I've said all along, Kim Jong Un is not the regime, Kim Jong Un is just its mascot, killing Kim Jong Un would not bring the regime down, not killing Kim Jong Un would not prop the regime up.

Kim Jong Un is a non issue, I'm not going to be aiming to miss him, but I'm not going to be aiming for him neither, a strategic nuclear counterforce, is not a targeted assassination operation.

At the same time, I'm not promising zero civilian casualties here, the regime's strategic infrastructure is in and around Pyongyang, a city of 2.5 million people, and the counterforce, it's gonna be violent, and B61's are hot, so, moms and babies will die, I ain't promising a bed of roses.

Well, bear in mind, can't telegraph it, for a counterforce, you can't go through the normal routine of posturing and running your mouths off about what you're gonna do, you don't say "fire and fury", you just do it, and it's gonna come in swift, bold and decisive, with no warning, so, people are gonna get caught in the storm.

I'd have to know what the current disposition of forces is at STRATCOM and PACOM right now, depends on their current readiness level, I'd need state secrets to make my warplan and give you a combat appreciation on it.

If the forces were already at very high readiness, could be 48 hours in a pinch, if they're not, could be 48 days.

Well, the North Koreans clearly believe that the Americans ain't gonna do shit about it, until it's too late for them to do anything about, hence why the North Koreans are being so damn cocky and belligerent about it.

If they thought for a second that the Americans were actually going to execute a counterforce before they reach the threshold of thermonuclear ICBM's against the CONUS, they'd be being a hell of a lot more covert, the fact that they are coming right out and bitch slapping the Americans across the mouth with it, tells me they are absolutely confident that they have the Americans cowed already.

I don't think they are scared of the Americans at all, they say paper tiger, and they believe it, not only are they going to try to win the Korean War assymetrically by nuclear blackmail escalation dominance, they are supremely confident that they are going to win.
