Africa has it's own cultural direction. When dealing with Africa, you have two choices. You either:

A) Direct African society along it's internal traditional lines

B) Artificially impose Western morality, society, culture

Liberia is a lesson in this. In South Africa and Rhodesia, you had a relatively small group of Western aristocrats who directed South African and Rhodesian society with a firm grip. You have to be a Philosopher King to rule the African continent, not a pastiche of a Western politician.

Nah, we've modernised to 19th century technology here and use a binder to cut the wheat.
