Isn't the whole point of liberty the freedom to express any opinion? I'm not really sure Martin knows what a liberty nation is as it is often the expression he uses as an excuse to end debate.GrumpyCatFace wrote:Dude. You are a socialist. For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

You've got 80 years to take a person's money from them. If you can't squeeze as much as you like from them in that time, too bad.Martin Hash wrote:Wealth MUST be redistributed: it's a mathematical fact unless aristocracies don't bother you. The goal is most-liberty-to-most-people, and liberty is tied to opportunity & opportunity is tied to wealth. Since I'm a liberty guy, I'd rather the owner of wealth did the redistribution rather than government, so if you're a billionaire, make a 1000 people millionaires when you kick the bucket. Average Joes would actually root for rich people because there's always a chance they could get some of the money.

Debating, or studying, the use, or misuse of language aint really my thing, but it might be nice to language section like there is for the 4th amendment.

You own your dick & your imagination, that's about all.
Okay. Then people will buy tangible assets instead.
The address of these issues ought to happen upfront, not after the fact. Confiscatory policies, in my opinion, signal decline. It means the ruling elite have nothing left to keep the ship afloat.
The very massive, and unfair, distribution of wealth caused the Western Roman Empire, the French Revolution, the Gilded Age, the Russian Revolution (although that was really helped by the First World War). Hell, just look at the unrest in various countries today.
As I said before, wealth equal power equals success. The lack of wealth equals powerlessness equals failure. If we do not start seriously address the unbalance in our country, now, there will be unrest, perhaps, just perhaps up to civil war. Just look at Trump, Clinton, and Sanders. They are symptoms.

To be honest I was mostly joking, I mean it is bugging me and it is incorrect but it isn't confusing as the meaning is still clear.
There are worse cases but I'm not really a grammar Nazi so I normally let it slide.
Martin's response about "less" being a synonym for "time" made no sense at all so I assumed he meant to say "hours" was a synonym for "time". "Less time" is perfectly correct so I guess he was right in the end even if he was actually being completely incomprehensible.

I'm coming to the opinion that many people accept the Nouveau Aristocracy because without Inheritance Taxes, it ain't going anywhere. There must be a genetic predisposition towards having Classes that overrides indoctrination, or perhaps a bias against them is no longer taught?
