It's nothing really, just a shell game to distract from the real issue which is the elimination of Inheritance taxes.

Adds about $4 trillion to the deficit but who cares? And remember when Bush made the Inheritance Tax repeal expire after 10 years, but kept the tax cuts to Individuals (which he had to do under law to keep the supposed "balance"), well this time, the Individual tax cuts expire and the Inheritance tax elimination is permanent.

Basically everyone is getting a tax break except rich people in blue states where taxes are really high. Now they will have to pay more because some of their SALTs have been removed (basically the various ways they can make tax write offs, while this effects red staters as well the taxes are low enough to offset this.)

The theory is that by boosting supply side economics it puts more revenue into the economy ultimately. Lowering corporate tax rates to 21% will supposedly boost job growth as they will off shore less and invest more.
