It's not the same thing at all. We just don't much care for Mohamed. It's not as if the name causes psychological discomfort. You can't snow me on this one either. I was one of those people who didn't like hearing the name Jesus at one point in my life. It's one of those weird little details we all just politely ignore, but I think a lot of people, if they really consider it, will recognize it, especially if they are among those who feel the cursive effects of the name. I am sure they will rationalize it away as some unique cultural issue from their exposure to Christians and how Christians are especially annoying or whatever, but I don't think that's really what causes it.
