Re: How's that Obamacare Repeal Working Out For You?
I've been steady on this, have my own talking points.........
1. Good another bullshit plan failed
2. REALLY BAD, Democrats offer no fixes for the shitty failing plan they yoked us with
3. The real test is to let Obamacare Fail, put responsibility where it is due, on BHO and the Dems
4. Obamacare fails because it was never about Healthcare, it was about Government Control and paying off the Medical Insurance and Pharmaceutical Industry.
5. After failure, open up all markets, take care of who needs to be taken care of with Medicare.

This just means a default Medicare plan for the uninsured is more likely. It's not really that bad in the long run.
Private health insurance for most people. For those who can't get insurance, there's Medicare. If you want to be particularly nasty about it, ensure members of Congress get the same standard of care as everybody else on Medicare.
I'd put all of the disabled veterans on Medicare and open up the VA hospital system to everybody on Medicare such that they can either pay the additional copays elsewhere, or just go to the socialized medicine hospital for free. Yeah, the VA hospitals are horrible, but if you don't have money even for copays, it would be better than what you get now. Plus, the VA system makes the ER really, really economical. I think it's actually cheaper for them if you go to the ER than try to make appointments with your primary care doctor.

I'd audit the disabled veterans first, to ween what is an obviously fraudulent claim rate before afflicting the taxpayer with the burden of subsidizing able-bodied citizens for life.

I'd just audit... there is fraud all across the board, you spit and you hit a hack.DBTrek wrote:I'd audit the disabled veterans first, to ween what is an obviously fraudulent claim rate before afflicting the taxpayer with the burden of subsidizing able-bodied citizens for life.

Well, sure . . . audit everyone of course.
StA was talking about putting veterans on Medicare, so I was saying audit them *BEFORE* putting them on Medicare.
Care for the disabled.
Jail or fine the frauds.

We should have been auditing everyone in the first place, this was a freebie to socialist hacks.DBTrek wrote:Well, sure . . . audit everyone of course.

About damn time, of course, you realize the Democrats are going to say that this is a closer step to single payer, so why not go full hog?C-Mag wrote:Trump preparing executive order to let Americans purchase health insurance across state lines
