WTF is up with Saskatchewan and the Yukon?

You guys seem to be basically Ontario, Alberta, plus the city of Vancouver. Isn’t that basically Canada? I mean, look at your top ten cities:

Mostly empty space. But loaded with resources. There's gold in dem empty spaces.

Enough resources for ten times the population here.

That's why it's richer than Mexico for instance.

It's a motherlode, simply handed over from the British Empire to the American Empire of Liberty.

And in fairness to urban Canada, the big cities do generate a lot of wealth.

Canada is like a single American state, with a Chicago, a Boston, and a Seattle, all in the same state.

It's like my property is quite valuable, but that is largely due to my proximity to Toronto.

It's like upstate New Jersey, in proximity to Manhattan.

It does look like the Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City corridor would account for most of the economic strength (and population) of Canada. Then there’s Vancouver waaaaay out there to the left, geographically and politically.

But that one, long, linear stretch of four cities sure looks like the power nexus of Canada on Google Maps.

Outside of Quebec, the power nexus has shifted almost entirely to Toronto.

Financially, the country is run from Bay Street, Bay Street is Canada's Wall Street.

Politically, the Liberal Party of Canada stronghold is in and around Toronto.

Culturally, the media is run from the CBC state propaganda arm in downtown Toronto.

One of the reasons the Canadian Army was so much fun was that it was so old school.

The army I joined was the same as it had been in the 1950's.

So for example we didn't have to present arms to O' Canada.

All the band ever played was God Save The Queen and the regimental march.

So it was oasis separate from this rule of the Liberals in downtown Toronto.
