Ahhhh yes, the faux intellectualism that liberals embrace so they can condescend to others. Now, a smart person might recognize the manipulation at play here. A smart person might recognize that the best way to organize stupid people, is to convince them that they’re actually smart.

But how do you convince a bunch of dummies that they’re actually smart? Well, you have to find one class of people dumber than them. Then, whenever the dummies congregate or post their opinions, they can believe that they’re the top of the intellectual food chain. In their dumb minds, they’ll think “all the smart people are like me, and all the dumb ones are like the one class of people stupider than myself”.

Liberalism in a nutshell. A bunch of people barely smarter than Bronze Age cow worshippers patting themselves on the back over their intellectual advantage. Like the attendees of the special olympics lording their abilities over people in comas.
I find it ironic that you live in the house that liberalism built (Western Washington State) but call them stupid, and fools at every turn. And you have to remember, genius, that I call myself average on a normal basis. Nuance completely misses you on the regular. I didn't say these people were stupid, which is also what you missed. These people are average, so are most of the liberals I meet.

It's almost as if, you're not even reading what I say and instead inserting whatever content you want and pretending like that's my position.

Liberalism didn’t build Western Washington. It does what it always does, waited for success to occur, and then moved in to redistribute the wealth it neither created nor fostered. Seattle and San Francisco weren’t founded by liberals, and they weren’t homeless-infested sanctuary cities until liberals took over.
;)

There’s a reason the youth, the most inexperienced, least educated, most gullible, people in a society are largely liberal. It’s not because they were born geniuses.

So no geniuses are liberal?

Are you also saying that liberals don't create anything of value? They just wait for others to do so then redistribute that wealth?

The only point you’ve offered here is that you consider yourself average. It’s an assertion you really didn’t need to invest much effort into proving.

Of course, even that claim becomes questionable the longer you go on.

Are you threatening to lower your estimation of my IQ?

Oh my! I'm frankly, uhh, just scared to death. What would I ever do without DBtrek's praise.

Yeah dude I don't care.

What I do care about is pinning you down on some statements.

Do you believe that there are no liberal geniuses?

Do you believe that liberals create nothing of non-negligible value, and that instead of creating wealth, they just redistribute it?

I believe trying to extract absolute statements in a casual forum as some form of “gotcha” only appeals to really stupid people.

So you say something, I try to pin you down on what you say, and then you call me stupid? That right there is the DBtrek formula.

That’s one interpretation.
Another interpretation is:
  • I say something.
You say something stupid because you’re more interested in making some unrelated point.
I point out your unrelated point is stupid.
You double down on the stupidity.
That’s the Jedi formula. Low reading comprehension, rage, and a startling lack of knowledge. But hey, at least he’s not handling snakes in some backwoods Alabama Church like an average conservative, right?

Lulz.
