America's 'greatness' has nothing to do with our internet insanity. It's a general weakness - a sense of ennue, as we watch our institutions corrupted and perverted, one by one. We have no faith in anything, because we've been betrayed by everyone. The illusions of 'personal responsibility' only apply to the plebs now. Nobody blinks an eye when another massive corporation or governmental agency fucks us all in the ass. It's a constant flow of shit coming down the pipe, with no relief but to turn off the news, and look at the weary eyes of our countrymen. All of us forced to tolerate the insanity of PC culture, drug-addled parents with neglected kids running amok, and minorities screaming at the top of their lungs in public for attention. Any sign of frustration is taken as a threatening gesture, causing suspicion from law enforcement and onlookers, as we all wait for the next one of us to lose his mind and blow something up. Meanwhile, local politicians and the wealthy flit about, glad-handing, politely ignoring anything other than glowing support for their brand.Smitty-48 wrote:America is great, I don't really see what all the fighting is about down there, seems to be more about some fringe groups getting too much play for clickbait in the media, whenever I meet Americans outside the confines of internet nonsense blathering forums like this, they acknolwedge some issues which are not to their liking, but no "Normies" as the internet fringe calls them, are calling for civil war nor anything like that, this here is just a bubble of hysterical kooks all echo chambering their kookery to one another, I mean, it is amusing, but not to be taken as a seriously as a practical reflection of the state of America writ large.
America's greatness is not in question, regardless of the hysterical ramblings of the Sky is Falling Juggalos ranting and raving in venues like this, who knew?
The fuse sputters, as it approaches the charge....
